After Shiane Brannan ground out to begin the inning, the Wild got four straight hits to score all four of their runs in the game. Larissa Franklin hit one on a line to right field, followed by a single from Kaleigh Rafter that put runners on second and third. Franklin then scrambled home when Joey Lye bounced a single to the pitcher. Kelsey Jenkins finished off the scoring with a sacrifice fly that scored Hayward from third.

Hayward went two for four at the plate with a single to go along with her game-winning triple, and was named RIP-IT Player of the Game in the contest.

It was a combined pitching effort for the Wild tonight, with four pitchers stepping up to help lock down the win.
